Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the SecretAlbum applications (“SecretAlbum Lite” and “SecretAlbum Premium”, collectively “the App”) developed by Mei Studio. It describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

The App is a local media browser and encryption tool. All encryption passwords you enter are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted to any server. We do not store, log, or have access to your passwords.

1.2 Media Access

The App requests read access to your device’s media files (images, videos, audio) solely to display and manage them within the App. Files are not uploaded or shared.

1.3 Advertising Data (Lite version only)

The Lite version uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may collect and use data from your device to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, including:

• Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID)
• Approximate location (country/region)
• App usage information
• Non-personal device information (OS version, screen size, etc.)

See Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob’s data practices. The Premium version contains no advertising.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide local media browsing and encryption features.
• To display advertisements in the Lite version (via Google AdMob).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties beyond the advertising partner described above.

3. Data Storage and Security

All media files and encryption operations remain on your device. The App does not maintain any cloud storage, account systems, or remote databases.

4. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

5. Your Rights

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Opt out of personalized advertising (see User Consent page).
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above.
